LaSalle Network is partnering with a well-established food manufacturing organization to identify an Accounts Payable Manager . This is a unique opportunity to join a stable, growing company and lead a multi-site AP function during an exciting period of operational alignment and process improvement.

This role will oversee a distributed Accounts Payable team across multiple locations and serve as the primary leader responsible for driving consistency, accountability, and efficiency across the AP department. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can quickly assess current processes, develop team members, and implement best practices while managing a high-volume payables environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the Accounts Payable function across multiple business locations.

• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Accounts Payable professionals located across multiple states.

• Standardize AP processes, procedures, and controls to improve efficiency and accuracy.

• Oversee the processing of both PO and non-PO invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing.

• Drive collaboration and communication across business units and locations to create a unified AP organization.

• Manage invoice workflows, including review, coding, matching, approvals, and payment processing.

• Monitor departmental performance and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and business leaders while serving as the subject matter expert for AP operations.

• Support month-end close activities and ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.

• Assist with special projects, process enhancements, and system-related initiatives.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Accounts Payable Manager role.

• Proven experience leading and developing teams, including remote or geographically dispersed employees.

• Strong understanding of end-to-end accounts payable processes and controls.

• Ability to work independently and provide strategic guidance to leadership.

• Experience managing high-volume invoice processing environments.

• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

• Stable career progression with demonstrated success in accounting or shared services leadership roles.

• Experience working within a manufacturing environment is preferred.

• Multi-site or shared services experience is highly desirable.

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $100,000 – $120,000 annually
