Nuuly Senior DevOps Engineer

Salary: $90,000 - 116,000 per year Requirements:

• We bring at least 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a comparable cloud infrastructure position.
• We have strong expertise in designing and operating cloud infrastructure, ideally on Google Cloud Platform or similar environments.
• We are hands-on with Kubernetes cluster administration, application deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting.
• We have practical experience building and improving CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or equivalent tooling.
• We understand event-driven architecture and asynchronous messaging, ideally with Kafka or similar technologies.
• We are proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Shell, or Python.
• We are skilled with infrastructure as code tools, ideally Terraform or comparable solutions.
• We have a deep understanding of containerization and cloud-native architecture, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• We have a strong grasp of cloud security principles and best practices.
• We bring excellent problem-solving ability and thrive in a collaborative environment.

• We design, build, and maintain scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
• We lead efforts to expand and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient, automated, and secure deployments across multiple environments.
• We implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to protect system health, uptime, and performance.
• We partner with software engineers to embed platform best practices into application development and release workflows.
• We support and improve Kafka usage for our event-driven services, with a focus on reliability and throughput.
• We troubleshoot and resolve issues across infrastructure, networking, and application layers.
• We contribute to infrastructure-as-code practices using tools such as Terraform.
• We drive cloud security enhancements and help ensure adherence to best practices in a regulated environment.
• We create and maintain clear documentation for infrastructure, CI/CD processes, and operational standards.
• We stay current with emerging DevOps tools, cloud services, and industry practices, and help introduce relevant new technologies.
