Job Title: Equipment Operator

Job Description:

We are seeking a Equipment Operator to manage various material handling tasks, including loading and unloading steel trucks and customer delivery trucks. The role involves preparing orders, palletizing, wrapping, and facilitating material movements. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining warehouse inventory and organizing the yard.

Job Duties:

• Unload incoming flat bed trucks and organize materials
• Pull metal materials from the yard and organize yard
• Operated forklifts, overhead cranes, loaders, and even skidsteers as needed
• Prepare finished products for shipping to customers and build crates for shipping
• Assist with other duties within the shop including assembly and machine operating as needed

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of material handling or equipment operating experience preferred
• Experience using overhead cranes highly preferred
• Previous metal fabrication experience preferred

Work Environment

This role is based in a warehouse and yard setting that involves regular use of sit-down forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment. You work around steel and other materials, frequently loading and unloading trucks and moving products throughout the facility.

This is a Permanent position based out of Fond Du Lac, WI.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
