School-Based Occupational Therapist

Provide school-based occupational therapy services to pediatric students in a 39-week contract in Lombard, Illinois, earning up to $65 per hour based on experience. Deliver direct and consult services, support student progress, and collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff. Make a meaningful impact on student outcomes in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide school-based occupational therapy services to pediatric students, including direct therapy sessions and consult/indirect supports as assigned
2. Assess student needs and support development of treatment plans aligned with school goals and student progress/outcomes
3. Support collaboration with teachers, families, and related service providers to promote carryover of strategies across classroom and home settings
4. Participate in required school processes, including documentation and coordination with special education/IEP-related requirements as applicable
5. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate effectively regarding student progress, updates, and therapy recommendations

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
• Licensed OTR with active occupational therapist licensure in Illinois
• Minimum 1 year of occupational therapy experience
• Direct school-based OT fieldwork experience in a pediatric school district
• Experience serving a large student caseload
• Ability to provide direct, indirect, and consult services to students
