Description:


This is a locum tenens opportunity for a physician specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology.


The schedule includes both inpatient and outpatient coverage, primarily in a clinic setting with call responsibilities.


Providers will work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday in the clinic.


They will be expected to take call shifts totaling 8 per month, which consist of sporadic beeper calls.


There is a requirement for a weekend of 24-hour call coverage and additional weeknight calls.


Providers can be considered for a full-time position or flexible scheduling options of either one week on/one week off or two weeks on/two weeks off.

Providers should anticipate around 0-2 deliveries during the 24-hour call shifts.

Responsibilities will include office procedures and minor gynecological or surgical interventions.


Candidates must provide adequate case logs to secure OB and GYN privileges.

Interview schedules will be arranged with the clinical team after an initial screening process.

The average patient encounters per shift is approximately 15.


Both low-risk and high-risk pregnancy management skills are preferred.

Skills in FHR interpretation and performing ultrasounds are required, as is experience with routine deliveries and surgical procedures.


Candidates must be adept in decision-making for c-sections and managing deliveries including complicated cases.

Experience with minor gynecology procedures is also necessary.
