Schedule/Hours:

• Contract position
• Full-time hours; rotating shifts may be required

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technician
• Certification in Surgical Technology or CVOR Tech (preferred)
• Demonstrated knowledge of sterile techniques, OR protocols, and surgical equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Ability to collaborate with surgical and nursing teams effectively
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and nursing staff with cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Prepare and maintain sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies in the operating room
• Monitor and ensure proper functioning of equipment throughout procedures
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and respond promptly
• Adhere to all infection control and OR safety standards
• Help transfer and position patients for operative procedures
• Provide accurate documentation and maintain surgical logs as required
• Support patient care efforts pre- and post-operatively
