The salary range for this role is USD 70,000 to 105,000 annually, with additional bonuses available.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Premier Counseling & Wellness Services, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual, couples, and family therapy sessions to address mental health issues, relationship dynamics, and emotional well-being.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), tailored to meet the specific needs of your clients.

• Developing comprehensive treatment plans and setting measurable goals in collaboration with clients to facilitate their healing journey.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records through an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
\n
• Providing crisis intervention and support to clients as needed.
\n
• Participating in regular team meetings and case consultations to enhance collaborative care and share best practices.
\n
• Engaging in continuous professional development and training opportunities to enhance your skills and expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adults, and families, who come from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Your ability to provide bilingual services in both English and Spanish will greatly enhance our ability to serve the Latino community effectively. You will be expected to show respect and sensitivity to each family’s cultural and individual needs, making your approach compassionate and personalized.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for the Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist position should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree from an accredited graduate program in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
\n
• An active, unrestricted LMFT license issued by the state of Texas.
\n
• Strong written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver bilingual therapy services.
\n
• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health setting, working with clients across the age spectrum including children, adolescents, and families.
\n
• Proficiency in one or more therapeutic modalities such as CBT, TF-CBT, or EMDR.
\n
• A willingness to participate as an in-network provider with at least one insurance panel.
\n
• Ability to operate standard office software and EHR tools effectively.
\n
• A valid driver’s license and car insurance.
\n
• A commitment to consistent attendance and punctuality in this role.

Preferred Experience\n

While the aforementioned qualifications are essential, additional preferred experiences include:

• Specialization in areas such as trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, grief and loss, or perinatal mental health.

• Familiarity with telehealth practices in a HIPAA-compliant environment.

• Experience with group therapy facilitation and short-term therapy techniques.
