Test Technician II

Medtronic's Cardiac Rhythm Management unit seeks a Test Technician II to support mechanical testing and analysis of cardiac devices, leads, and catheters. The role involves conducting standardized tests, developing test methods, supervising junior technicians, and managing lab operations at the Mounds View, Minnesota facility.

Responsibilities

• Execute test procedures on cardiac leads, catheters, and devices; prepare samples and export results
• Develop and refine test methods, measurement techniques, and testing fixtures
• Supervise junior technicians to ensure timely completion of project milestones
• Coordinate equipment calibrations, repairs, and troubleshooting activities
• Manage lab procurement, inventory, and facility operations

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant technical or laboratory experience
• Ability to follow detailed test procedures and document results accurately
• Capacity to direct and mentor junior technicians
• Strong organizational and communication skills for presenting technical data
• Vocational or technical education or certification (preferred)
• Experience with TA Instruments or Instron test equipment (preferred)

Compensation: $49,600–$74,400 base (USD, annual)
