Mechanical Inspector

Overview We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to perform precision mechanical and electronic inspections, support supplier quality initiatives, and ensure products meet strict quality standards. Responsibilities Conduct mechanical inspections using calipers, micrometers, CMMs, optical comparators, microscopes, and other metrology equipment. Perform visual inspections of electronic assemblies and first article inspections. Document and communicate nonconforming findings through detailed reports. Conduct source inspections at local supplier locations. Support supplier audits, MRB activities, and cross-functional quality initiatives. Maintain accurate quality records and identify opportunities for Dock-to-Stock (DTS) programs. Qualifications High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of relevant inspection experience, or Associate Degree with 2+ years of related experience. Strong background in mechanical inspection, blueprint reading, and quality documentation. Preferred Qualifications IPC-A-610 Certification. Hexagon CMM Certification (PC-DMIS). Keyence Vision System programming experience. Experience with optical measurement equipment and supplier quality processes.
