As the Director of Nursing, you will oversee the overall clinical operations of the community while ensuring exceptional resident care, regulatory compliance, and team leadership.

• Lead, mentor, coach, and develop nursing and care teams

• Conduct resident assessments and oversee individualized care plans

• Ensure compliance with all state, local, and federal regulations

• Oversee medication management and clinical documentation

• Conduct audits, investigations, and incident follow-up

• Partner with physicians, families, vendors, and community leadership

• Support staffing, hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts

• Foster a culture of accountability, compassion, and excellence

• Respond to community emergencies and clinical concerns as needed

We are seeking a strong clinical leader who thrives in a fast-paced senior living environment and genuinely enjoys serving residents and supporting teams.

• RN license in good standing (RN preferred)
• 5+ years of leadership experience preferred
• Senior living, geriatric nursing, memory care, or long-term care experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and infection control practices
• Experience building, developing, and retaining nursing teams
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

• Resident-focused and compassionate
• Calm under pressure with strong clinical judgement
• A servant leader who enjoys mentoring others
• Organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented
• Passionate about creating a positive culture and strong resident outcomes

The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $115,00. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Pegasus Senior Living (PSL) offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage, disability insurance, 401(k) with match, paid time off (PTO), Flexible hours for better work-life balance, Employee assistance program.(all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements)., Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.
