As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist visitors and employees with professionalism. You will use strong communication and customer service skills while working as part of a team that reflects Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 07:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 07:00 PMWed03:00 PM - 07:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 07:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 07:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of pharmaceutical facility buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate security-related logs and incident documentation. Support a professional, orderly healthcare and pharmaceutical research environment by communicating observations and concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
