Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and de-escalation certification required Must-Have: Experience in a large, urban, fast-paced Emergency Department with significant volume required Experience with ventilated patients required Epic charting system experience required Level 1 trauma experience preferred Travelers with prior local work history will need specific approval Description: This position offers flexible schedules with both 3x12s and 4x12s available. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting. Experience in caring for ventilated patients is essential. Candidates must be familiar with a high-volume, fast-paced emergency department environment. Every other weekend coverage is required, with a total of four weekend shifts throughout the contract period. The patient-to-nurse ratio will be 1:5. The facility sees an average of 210 visits per day. This position requires floating to sister locations when necessary. No travel experience is acceptable for first-time travelers.
