Job Description for Radiologic Technologist at Rochester, New York

Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Location: Rochester, New York

Job Type: Contract (13 weeks)

Shift: Day ( Monday - Friday (5 X 8hr Shifts)

Responsibilities:

Position patients correctly and ensure their safety and comfort during procedures.
Operate imaging equipment and adjust settings to obtain high-quality images.
Follow radiation safety protocols and ensure proper shielding for patients and staff.
Assist radiologists in interpreting images and documenting findings.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of medical information.

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
State licensure or certification as required.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
