Job Title: Freelance Designers (Graphic, Motion, Production, Email & Logo) Location: 100% Remote Job Type: Contract / Freelance / Project-Based About the Opportunity: We are a fast-paced creative communications team looking to expand our core roster of talented freelance design professionals. Because our project workflow fluctuates and can be sporadic, we rely on a dedicated network of long-term freelancers (what we call our "permalancers") to help us execute top-tier work for our diverse corporate clients. This is not a traditional full-time, 40-hour-a-week position. This opportunity is perfect for established freelancers, stay-at-home parents, or creative professionals looking to take on flexible, ongoing side projects. We pride ourselves on building long-term relationships with our freelance team. Once we establish a great working rhythm and you nail a client's "look and feel," our goal is to consistently send that client's future projects directly your way! We are currently expanding our roster across five different skill sets. Depending on your expertise, we'd love to tap into your skills in any of the following areas: General Graphic Design: Creating print ads, social media graphics, corporate office documents, email signatures, and custom printed materials (like holiday cards). Motion Graphics: Designing animated GIFs, short videos, and animated e-cards. (Note: We experience heavy, high-volume rushes during industry award seasons in the Spring and Fall, and highly value motion designers who can turn around dynamic graphics under tight deadlines!) Email Marketing Design: Designing and executing e-announcements. (Requirement: You must have proven, hands-on experience specifically utilizing the Campaign Monitor platform). Production Design (Junior-to-Mid Level): Executing basic design tasks using Adobe Creative Suite. This includes working efficiently within our existing templates, resizing social media graphics, and creating website thumbnails. Logo & Brand Design: Conceptualizing and creating custom logos and fresh brand identities. What We Are Looking For: A strong digital portfolio showcasing your specific area(s) of expertise. Honesty & Transparency: We want to know your strengths! If a project falls outside your wheelhouse or current bandwidth, we highly value candidates who are upfront about it. Reliability & Deadline-Driven: While everyday deadlines are highly manageable, certain times of the year require quick, reliable turnarounds for our clients. Strong communication skills and the ability to jump on occasional video calls (via MS Teams) to discuss project parameters and kick-offs. Compensation: Hourly rates are competitive, flexible, and commensurate with your experience, skill level, and the complexity of the assigned projects.
