- Full time hours, hybrid (2-3 days weekly in the community, mainly in Merced, CA)
- Mon-Fri 8-5pm PST
- Pay Range: $270,000 - 400,000 / Year
- Hybrid, 2-3 days weekly in community, mainly Merced, CA
- Acts as the Alliance's Medicare Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan (D-SNP) clinical subject matter expert
- Provides specialized clinical D-SNP leadership within a variety of Health Services functional areas
- Develops and improves relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the professional medical community, and maintains and enhances communications with similar Health Plan organizations
- Participates in all aspects of regulatory compliance related to D-SNP and Health Services functions
- Medical leadership/administration experience, ideally with another health plan but not required
- Experience working within DSNP/Medicare plan, a plus if they've putt one up
- Experience in Utilization Management, Quality Improvement and Appeals/Denials
- Matrixed leadership experience and knows how to lead without direct authority
- Some project management tools, identifying where the gaps are and negotiate your needs with the other silos
- Experience with JIVA a plus but not required
- Medi-Cal experience is a plus
- Must have a valid Drivers License, CA medical license and be a board certified physician.
