Dental Assistant

Location: Carrollton, TX
Employment Type: Full Time
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Some Saturdays
Pay: Hourly

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide excellent patient care, support the dentist and clinical team, and help ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for every patient.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments.
• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures.
• Welcome and support patients throughout their appointments.
• Take and develop dental X-rays, as permitted by applicable regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes.
• Sterilize instruments and follow infection-control procedures.
• Provide patients with post-treatment instructions.
• Help manage supplies, equipment, and operatory readiness.
• Support scheduling, patient communication, and other front-office tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous dental assisting experience preferred but not required.
• Dental assisting certification or relevant training preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification, or willingness to obtain it.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and infection-control standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
