Part-Time Bookkeeper

LHH is seeking an experienced Part-time Bookkeeper to join a leading organization's accounting team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with financial records, maintaining accurate accounts, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. The anticipated pay range for this role is between $33-$35 an hour.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting files
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts
• Monitor invoices, payments, and outstanding balances
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Maintain vendor and customer records
• Research and resolve discrepancies or billing issues
• Prepare financial reports and account summaries
• Assist with audits and other accounting-related projects as needed

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
