Enter beverage order into the POS system and serves the members and their guestsExplain specials and up sell additional items based on pre-shift suggestions discussedTake food order, enter into the POS system and preset the necessary silverwareEnsure smooth communication and coordination with Front and Back team members (Runners, bussers, cooks)Serve food as soon as the entire table's dishes are ready to be served – ladies first and hot foods before cold foods.Clear table as necessary and attend to guests throughout the meal (Water and coffee refills, replacement of dropped napkins, refills of wine or champagne, freshly grounded pepper or condiments)Close out the check on the POS systemIs courteous, maintain a professional attitude and acts professionally throughout serviceThank members for coming and welcome them backIncidental Duties:The above list of essential job functions describes the general nature and level of work being performed in this job. Ability to deal with problems involving standard situations.Basic bar and beverage knowledge: beer, liquor, wines.Basic dining room service etiquette and food knowledge.Language and Communication Skills:Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
