Description

• Perform assessments for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients utilizing standardized tests and keen observational skills.
• Craft tailored treatment regimens that address immediate needs while fostering long-term communication, cognitive, and swallowing goals.
• Deliver focused therapy sessions designed to enhance communication skills across language, fluency, voice, and swallowing domains.
• Collaborate effectively with a team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and caregivers to build a holistic care approach.
• Provide essential education to patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond the clinical environment.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy sessions, ensuring seamless care throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Maintain organized and timely documentation that complies with state, federal, and organizational norms.
• Stay abreast of industry advancements through continuous learning and partnerships with fellow clinicians.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Satisfaction of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandated within 30 days of hire.
