Our client, a full-service law firm in midtown NYC, is seeking a dynamic, client-focused Lounge Manager to oversee the daily operations of a high-end corporate lounge in our New York City office. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming hospitality experience while ensuring seamless operational execution, exceptional service standards, and efficient bar and lounge management.

This is a highly visible, front-facing role requiring strong leadership, flexibility, and a hospitality-first mindset. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments and is comfortable balancing operational management with hands-on guest engagement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day lounge operations to ensure a smooth, high-quality guest experience
• Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, stock monitoring, and regular audits
• Oversee budget management, ensuring cost control and operational efficiency
• Maintain compliance with all applicable alcohol service laws and safety standards
• Ensure a safe, welcoming, and service-oriented environment for all guests
• Develop and rotate seasonal beverage offerings and featured menu items
• Hire, train, and supervise bar and lounge staff
• Establish and enforce service standards and operational procedures
• Provide exceptional, white-glove service to internal stakeholders and external guests
• Support administrative and operational needs related to lounge programming and events

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hospitality management experience
• Experience in inventory management, ordering, and supplier coordination
• Background in safe food handling and beverage service compliance
• Proven experience hiring, training, and managing frontline hospitality staff
• Strong communication skills and a polished, client-facing presence
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and event coverage as needed

Additional Details

• Salary range: $85,000 – $106,000
• Hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office, with additional in-office/event coverage as needed
• This role is fully front facing with significant interaction with attorneys, staff, clients, and guests
• Flexibility is essential, as event volume may require additional in-office days or evening coverage
