Industry Banking Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to spearhead the development and enhancement of its enterprise-wide compliance program. The CCO will be tasked with overseeing all aspects of regulatory and consumer compliance, particularly within the context of a growing banking and fintech-focused platform. This executive leadership role demands a strategic leader who can design and implement a robust compliance framework, anticipate regulatory changes, and instill a strong culture of compliance throughout the organization. Key responsibilities include developing and executing the compliance strategy, leading risk assessments, and serving as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years' of experience in compliance or risk management within financial services, with a preference for those who have previously held a senior compliance leadership position. A strong understanding of banking, fintech, MSBs, payments, or related regulated financial services is essential, and experience with regulatory examinations, policy development, and enterprise compliance programs is required. The role also calls for a professional with strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, who can operate both strategically and in a hands-on manner with regulatory responsibilities. The CCO will be expected to provide regular reports on compliance risks and developments to senior leadership and the Board of Directors, and to ensure that compliance standards are integrated across all operations in partnership with business units, vendors, and other stakeholders.
