Welder

We are looking for an experienced Senior Aluminum MIG & TIG Welder / Fabricator to join our advanced manufacturing team. In this role, you will independently build high-precision aluminum assemblies across both custom fabrication and production lines.

The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in GMAW and GTAW processes on aluminum, along with a solid grasp of thermal distortion control, joint preparation, alloy metallurgy, and stringent quality specs. If you take pride in producing clean, structurally sound welds with excellent aesthetic finish and zero supervision, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Advanced Welding: Execute top-tier MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW) welding on a variety of aluminum sheet, plate, extruded, and machined components.

• Precision Setup: Configure welding machines, shielding gases, amperage, wire feed rates, and torch parameters suited to specific aluminum alloys and material thicknesses.

• Joint Prep & Fit-Up: Clean, degrease, prep, and align joints carefully to prevent contamination and ensure proper fitment before striking an arc.

• Blueprint Interpretation: Read technical drawings, complex fabrication prints, AWS weld symbols, and GD&T requirements to build accurate assemblies.

• Full-Cycle Fabrication: Perform grinding, blending, cutting, and finishing operations to achieve specified dimensional tolerances and surface profiles.

• Quality Assurance & Troubleshooting: Visually inspect finished work for defects (such as porosity, incomplete fusion, or cracking) and resolve root-cause issues independently.

• Operational Efficiency: Hit production milestones without compromising on safety guidelines, dimensional precision, or craft standards.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
