Job Description
Title: Certified Medical Assistant - Medical

Schedule:
- Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Days: Monday - Friday

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40.00

Requirements:
- High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or equivalent combination of licensure and experience: Preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification: Required
- Successful completion of audiometry and vision training or certificate from CHDP within six months of hire: Preferred
- Phlebotomy certificate: Preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Set up exam rooms and check in patients.
- Maintain a patient recall system, including continuity of care log for lab tests, referrals, and transfers.
- Obtain and record vital signs.
- Report significant findings and pertinent patient observations to the supervising healthcare provider.
- Perform venipunctures as ordered.
- Conduct audiometry and vision testing.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Compliance / Notes:
- All associates are required to receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable. Medical and religious exemptions may apply.
- Participation in E-Verify process.
