Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Warehouse Unarmed Patrol Response in LINTHICUM , MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site procedures. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and respond to incidents with professionalism. - Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, vehicle-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site procedures.
- Document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
