Data Analyst

Data AnalystThis role requires a thorough understanding of business analysis and data methodology. Some reports will need to be automated or maintained with varied data sources (SQL or NoSQL dbs., or csv/json/pdf files). Current reports are in Tableau or use python to generate Excel or PowerPoint files.ONSITE-NO REMOTE OPTION - Data analyst will be working with equipment's regarding DATA-Hence day one OnsiteMajor Duties And ResponsibilitiesConduct complex data analysis in support of a variety of analytic solutionsCapture, develop, and document data definitions, business rules, and data quality requirementsIntegrate data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elementsCreate and produce technical reports, ad hoc requests, dashboards, etc.Interpret data, analyze results, and provide insights to determine operational impact, trends, and opportunitiesDevelop reports and deliverables for management and communicate with all levels of stakeholdersIdentify and define data quality improvementsCreate and maintain report forms and formats, information dashboards, data generators, canned reports and other end-user information portals or resourcesEnsure compliance with deliverable reporting requirements by performing quality data audits and analysisCreate specifications for reports based on business requestsIdentify opportunities to use data to develop new strategies, improve business performance, and utilize knowledge of mathematical modeling and other optimization methods to perform quantitative and qualitative data analysisPerform other duties as requestedRequired QualificationsSkills/Abilities and KnowledgeAbility to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishAbility to prioritize and organize effectivelyAbility to work independently, as well as in a collaborative and dynamic team environmentAbility to handle multiple projects and prioritiesAbility to analyze and interpret dataAbility to quickly identify business problems/opportunitiesAbility to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward mannerAbility to communicate with all levels of management and company personnelAbility to manage multiple projects at one timeAbility to document, prepare and present data-driven presentationsPreferred QualificationsSkills/Abilities and KnowledgeWillingness to learn networking and Wi-Fi and Wireless technologies and automation frameworks.Experience with software applications such as Word, Excel, etc.Experience with Python: numpy, pandas, pyplot, seaborn (xlsxwriter, pyodbc, pymongo, and pptx)Experience with databases: SQL and NoSQL (MongoDB)Experience with data visualization/reporting tools: Tableau or anything Microsoft Power BIExperience with Gitlab; JIRA; ConfluenceExperience with Alteryx softwareFamiliarity with JavaScript API, Rest API, or Data Extract APIs
