About the job 1st Shift CNC Lathe Machinist
1st shift, Monday-Friday 6am-3:30pm
- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines according to blueprints, specifications, and work instructions
- Load and unload raw materials and finished parts onto the machine
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and accuracy
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the machining process
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC lathe machines
- Experience with Fanuc or Siemens controls
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient in using precision measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
