General Summary:

As an Accounting Manager/Supervisor you will manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance department and accounting functions, checking the accuracy of business transactions. Supervise assigned staff, prepare monthly financial reports, maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financially related aspects of the electronic health record. Also, as part of this position, you will coordinate the finance unit on projects such as overall budget implementation and year-end reporting.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, and five or more years' experience in the health care industry, at least two of which involve supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education. Excellent knowledge and experience with accounting software and databases, the ability to multitask, and an understanding and knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.

Able to successfully work in a remote work environment including promoting a sense of teamwork and collaboration with a team that also works remotely.

Preferred Qualifications:

CPA or CGFM Certification Experience with CMH/PIHP related grants
