Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines using professional judgment and critical thinking.
- Provide triage, treatment, and support for trauma and emergency patients of all ages in an acute care setting.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications as ordered, document care, and respond to changes in condition with urgency and sound clinical judgment.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans and ensure smooth patient flow within the department.

Requirements
- Active California Registered Nurse license
- ER nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work nights and thrive in a fast-paced emergency department environment
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and coordinate care across nursing staff levels
- Commitment to patient safety, accurate documentation, and adherence to standards of care
