Overview
Registered Nurse - ICU (RN) available for a travel assignment in Sonora, CA. This ICU position is a 13-week assignment at a short-term acute care hospital setting. Start date is 09/21/2026 with a pay range of $2,092–$2,245 per week and guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shifts are 3x12-hour days, with schedule and hours noted as 7:00 AM–7:30 PM per the assignment details.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated ICU nursing care for a patient or assigned group, following established standards and the nursing process
- Monitor patient status, collect and interpret data, develop and implement care plans, and adjust interventions as needed
- Administer medications, manage complex equipment, and respond to emergencies with appropriate clinical judgment
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other team members; communicate with patients’ families to support understanding and engagement
- Lead and supervise nursing staff where assigned; delegate tasks and ensure safe, efficient care delivery
- Participate in discharge planning and provide patient and family education to promote continuity of care and safe transition

Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice (California or eligible by state rules)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of two years of recent ICU experience in an acute care setting
- Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and PALS required (AHA-ACLS/ARC-ALS and AHA-PALS/ARC-PALS)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ICU environment and adapt to a 3x12-hour day shift pattern
- Commitment to patient safety, quality outcomes, and teamwork in a high-acuity unit
