Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess patient status, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and respond to changes in condition.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, including delegation and supervision across shifts.
- Coordinate care with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive, safe patient care plans.
- Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making in daily patient care and discharge planning.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California (or state of practice as applicable to this assignment)
- ER nursing experience or demonstrated competence in a fast-paced acute care setting
- Ability to work nights and adapt to a high-acuity environment
- Strong assessment skills and proficiency with charting/EMR systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to coordinate multidisciplinary care
