Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg needed in Sonora, California for a travel assignment starting 11/15/2026. Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient group according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Collect relevant data, assess and analyze health information, and contribute to the care plan.
- Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery with the healthcare team, and promote a safe, healing environment.
- Monitor patient progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust care as needed; participate in discharge planning for continuity of care.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to other nursing staff; collaborate with families and interdisciplinary team members; provide education to patients and families.

Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice (California)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from an approved vendor; CPR certification or equivalent
- ACLS or ARC-ALS certification (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) required
- At least two years of recent experience in Med Surg or an acute care setting
- BSN: preferred; Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
- Ability to work the listed shift and setting (night shift, 3x12 schedule)
