Registered Nurse - Acute Care

Schedule

Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 | Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required
• At least two years recent experience in field required

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care according to established standards of care
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress toward desired outcomes
• Provide education and learning opportunities for patients and families
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
