Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) in Sonora, California. This travel-temporary assignment starts on 09/21/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,121 to $2,258 per week. Guaranteed hours are not guaranteed. Shifts are 12 hours long, with a 3x12 days schedule totaling 36 hours per week. The role supports an acute care setting’s trauma and emergency care, including triage, treatment and patient support for individuals of all ages.

Responsibilities
- Perform initial triage and rapid assessment of emergency department patients across all ages
- Administer medications, establish IV access, monitor and interpret patient status, and support trauma and acute care interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers and the broader healthcare team to implement care plans
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record and provide clear handoffs to oncoming staff
- Monitor patients for changes in condition, respond to emergencies, and participate in evidence-based protocols
- Educate patients and families as appropriate and provide discharge planning support

Requirements
- Active RN license to practice in California
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a high-acuity ER setting
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience in a fast-paced emergency or acute care environment preferred
- Eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
