We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Travel Coordinator to support travel and expense-related functions within our Accounting department. This role is ideal for someone who is tech-savvy, analytical, and comfortable working with numbers, multiple systems, and large amounts of data. The Travel Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating travel arrangements, auditing expenses, reconciling invoices, and ensuring compliance with company travel policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, rental cars, and itineraries
• Review, audit, and process travel-related expenses and invoices for accuracy and policy compliance
• Reconcile travel expenditures and assist with monthly reporting
• Research travel options, rates, and vendor agreements to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Maintain accurate travel records and supporting documentation
• Work across multiple software systems to track travel, expenses, approvals, and accounting data
• Assist with data analysis, reporting, and spreadsheet management
• Partner with employees, managers, vendors, and accounting staff to resolve discrepancies and answer travel-related questions
• Monitor outstanding expenses and follow up as needed
• Support special projects and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in travel coordination, accounting support, expense management, or a related administrative role
• Strong aptitude for numbers and financial data
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, filtering, and reporting
• Highly tech-savvy with the ability to learn and navigate multiple systems and software platforms
• Strong research and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within an Accounting, Finance, or Corporate Travel department
• Familiarity with expense management and travel booking platforms
• Experience with ERP systems, accounting software, or financial reporting tools
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Hospitality, or a related field preferred

Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
