Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) care is sought for a facility located in Omaha, Nebraska. This assignment requires candidates to have at least two years of recent ICU experience. The selected professional will be responsible for providing advanced critical care to adult and pediatric patients, including those with neuro, respiratory, cardiac, renal, surgical, and other complex conditions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of the assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Omaha, Nebraska
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (6:30 PM 6:30 AM)
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Start Date: 06/08/2026
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (must be current and valid)
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience; Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS); EMR experience with EPIC and Meditech; ability and willingness to float as needed within the scope of practice; candidates must have a valid driver's license and be willing to make up all RTO to ensure a full 13-week assignment.
• Schedule: Night shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM; 36 hours minimum per week.
• Additional Information: The unit is fast-paced with volume flexes due to being a primary tertiary hospital for the system. Experience with neuro patients, ventilators, titratable drips, and telemetry monitoring is required. The environment emphasizes teamwork, critical thinking, and positive attitude. Floating to all inpatient units, excluding Maternity/NICU, is required.
