Engineer R&D Electrotechnique (F/H/D) – CDI

Your activities:

• Attached to the R&D Manager, your main duties will be:
• Establishing and maintaining the electrical design rules of our products
• Contributing to projects related to product performance and reliability
• Translating customer requirements into technical specifications
• Documenting specifications, calculation notes, procedures, plans, and technical instructions
• Providing technical expertise to internal teams and external partners
• Ensuring technological and regulatory surveillance in your field of expertise, including participation in international research groups

Location: Position based in Saint-Louis (68). Occasional travel is expected both in France and internationally.

Contract and working time: CDI (Permanent Contract) Forfait jours (Time off package)

Profile and level of experience: You hold a bac+5 degree in Electrotechnique Engineering or equivalent. You have at least 5 years of experience in the field of ultra-high voltage or cellulose-oil insulation. You are comfortable in a cutting-edge international environment.

Expected skills:

• Advanced knowledge in the field of ultra-high voltage
• Proficiency in reading plans, design rules, and 2D and 3D design software
• Finite element calculations
• Synthesis and technical documentation skills
• Basic project management principles
• Fluency in written and spoken English (B2 minimum)
• Proficiency in computer tools

Know-how: Adaptability, rigor, autonomy, proactivity, analytical and synthesis skills
