They seek a Finance Manager, Commodities to join their Manhattan, NY office.ResponsibilitiesOversee the accounting and reconciliation of commodities transactions, including futures, options, swaps, and physical commodity positionsPrepare and review monthly and quarterly NAV calculations, financial reporting, and supporting schedules for commodities portfoliosPartner with trading, operations, and counterparties to investigate and resolve trade and reconciliation discrepanciesAnalyze portfolio activity, valuations, and market movements to support accurate financial reporting and performance analysisCollaborate with Portfolio Management, Risk, Legal, Operations, and Finance teams to provide accounting guidance and business supportEnsure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, internal accounting policies, and applicable regulatory requirementsPrepare audit support, reconciliations, and documentation for internal and external audit requestsIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency through automation and enhanced controlsMonitor complex commodities transactions and provide technical accounting support for new products and investment strategiesServe as the accounting subject matter expert for commodities portfolios while supporting strategic initiatives and cross-functional projectsRequirements10+ years private with fund accounting experience supporting a commodities pod or with Geneva experiencePrevious experience in a hedge fund, asset management firm, or commodities trading environment is highly desirableProficiency in fund accounting systemsExcellent communication skillsDetail-oriented and highly analyticalTagged as: In-OfficeDate Posted:Posted on August 6, 2026Location:New York, NY, USAJob Title:Finance Manager, CommoditiesSalary:$175,000 - $225,000
