Neurointerventional Radiologist (Interventional Neuroradiology / Stroke Intervention)

Location: Baltimore, Maryland (Sinai Hospital – LifeBridge Health | Comprehensive Stroke Center | Mid-Atlantic USA)

We invite you to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland, as a Neurointerventional Radiologist, contributing to a comprehensive stroke program. In this role, you will perform high-acuity endovascular interventions for stroke patients, including mechanical thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, AVM embolization, and diagnostic angiography at a leading thrombectomy-capable stroke center. This position is based at Sinai Hospital, which is renowned for its comprehensive stroke care.

This facility is equipped with advanced neurointerventional radiology technology and operates under continuous coverage models. It features state-of-the-art equipment for complex neurological procedures, supported by dedicated advanced practice providers (APPs) and specialized neurology teams to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.

Position Details:

• Work schedule consists of 183 days per year, which can be organized as alternating weeks (one week on, one week off).
• The clinician will be responsible for providing 24/7 neurointerventional stroke call coverage, ensuring availability to arrive at the hospital within 30 minutes when needed. Duties include performing intricate interventional procedures for stroke patients, such as thrombectomies, diagnostic angiograms, coilings, stenting, and AVM embolizations.

Required Qualifications:

• MD degree from an accredited medical institution.
• Completion of a fellowship in Interventional Radiology, Neurosurgery, or Neurology, with a focus on Interventional Neuroradiology.
• Eligibility to obtain a Maryland Medical License without restrictions and a current (or obtainable) DEA license.
