Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Fort Worth, TX. This position is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with property owners, contractors, and community partners, and driving revenue growth. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and networking, conducting site visits and client meetings, preparing proposals and estimates in coordination with operations staff, and following up on leads through phone, email, and in-person outreach. The role involves collaborating with the marketing team to support local campaigns, representing the company at trade shows and community events, and monitoring market trends to inform sales strategies. The Business Development Manager is expected to maintain accurate records in CRM tools, report on sales performance, and contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in business development, sales, and account management, with the ability to build and sustain long-term client relationships. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, customer-friendly language. Organizational and planning skills, such as pipeline management, time management, and accurate documentation using CRM or similar tools. Experience or familiarity with roofing, construction, or home services industries is highly beneficial, including basic understanding of project workflows and site safety. Comfort with local travel within the Fort Worth area for client meetings, site visits, and networking events. Ability to work on-site, collaborate effectively with field and office teams, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. High level of integrity, customer focus, and problem-solving skills to address client needs and resolve issues promptly.
