Worksite Location: Ormond Beach, FL

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and test low voltage electrical systems in a manufacturing environment. This position supports reliable operation of data, communications, security, fire alarm, and control systems while ensuring work meets applicable safety standards and electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot low voltage systems, including:
  • Structured cabling (Cat5e/Cat6 and fiber optics)
  • CCTV, access control, and intrusion alarm systems
  • Fire alarm systems
  • Audio/visual and communication systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Perform system testing, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Use testing equipment such as cable testers, multimeters, and OTDRs.
• Ensure installations comply with applicable NEC, BICSI, and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate installation, repair, and inspection documentation.
• Support system upgrades, retrofits, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification preferred.
• 2+ years of low voltage electrical experience.
• Working knowledge of NEC and industry standards, including BICSI.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with network infrastructure and IP-based systems preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces.
• Ability to stand, bend, climb, and work for extended periods.
• Work may include indoor and outdoor environments.
• Occasional overtime or travel may be required based on business needs.
