Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Mira Loma, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location. Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report concerns, and provide exceptional customer service to guests and tenants. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Work with a caring, reliable team that values innovation, agility, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide courteous customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and staff while following site-specific policies and security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter to identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, and help to deter unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and disruptive behavior through a visible presence.
• Document patrol activity and incidents through clear, accurate reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervisors and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
