Make a meaningful difference supporting students by joining a dedicated school community as a Special Education Teacher at the elementary level. In this onsite, contract role located near Boulder, CO, you’ll work directly with a resource caseload, focusing on students at Emerald Elementary. You’ll have the unique opportunity to shape young learners’ experiences in an inclusive environment and help their academic and social success flourish.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid (active or pending) CDE license or COOL is required to be considered for this position.
• Proven experience in classroom management, especially within an elementary school setting.
• Demonstrated background working with students with autism.
• Passion for supporting diverse learning needs and fostering a positive, collaborative classroom culture.
• Strong communication, organization, and advocacy skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction based on students’ IEPs.
• Develop and implement teaching strategies tailored to students’ needs, focusing on resource support.
• Manage classroom dynamics and create a structured, welcoming environment for each learner.
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families.
• Regularly maintain progress records and participate in IEP meetings.
• Adapt curriculum materials and instructional techniques to facilitate engagement and success.

Available Position and Details:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week, with paid and unpaid lunch time allocations.
• Contract runs from ASAP through November 30, 2026.
• Onsite position supporting students at Emerald Elementary.
