This contract opportunity requires a dedicated educator for a resource caseload at the elementary level, focusing on students with autism. Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and active (or pending) CDE license or COOL required (applications without this will not be considered)
• Background in classroom management, especially in elementary settings
• Proven experience supporting students with autism
• Strong collaboration skills with teachers, aides, and families
• Ability to adapt lessons and resources to individual learning needs
• Passion for fostering academic, social, and emotional growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Special Education Teacher for Emerald Elementary’s resource caseload
• Develop and implement IEPs aligned with each student’s needs
• Create a safe, structured, and positive classroom atmosphere
• Utilize evidence-based instructional methods to facilitate comprehension and engagement
• Track student progress, maintaining regular communication with families and staff
• Collaborate on interventions and supports with the school’s multidisciplinary team
