Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele

Med-Surg / Telemetry Nurse

Schedule: Day/Night rotation, 36 hours/week. Rotates between straight shifts for 4 weeks and opposite shifts for the next 4 weeks. Requires 3–4 weekend days per month.

Assignment Details: Daily census approximately 23. Total of 27 beds available.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year RN experience.
• Valid state or compact RN license required at time of submission.
• BLS certification required.
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or director.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and care for adult and geriatric patient populations.
• Recognize and manage telemetry dysrhythmias.
• Start and maintain IVs/PICC/peripheral lines; provide IV care and manage chest tubes.
• Participate in Rapid Response and Code teams.
• Provide care for patients with opioid withdrawal and other general medical issues.

Compliance / Notes: Orientation consists of 36 hours. Strict fingerprinting and citizenship compliance required. Background checks and return-to-office availability must be completed prior to start.
