Posting Summary Rutgers University-Camden is seeking a Program Coordinator I for the CCR &R, reporting to the Sr. Program Director. The Program Coordinator will serve as the Quality Improvement Specialist ( QIS ) in Cumberland, Gloucester & Salem Counties, and will have primary responsibility for the planning and implementation of the NJ Quality Rating and Improvement System, Grow NJ Kids. There is a focus on recruitment and enrollment into the statewide program. The position provides staff in enrolled early care and education programs with targeted technical assistance and coaching as part of the Grow NJ Kids continuous improvement cycle. With this system, New Jersey is creating universal standards of quality for all child care and education programs (Head Start, Child Care, Preschool, etc.). Grow NJ Kids provides training and incentives to improve child care programs by providing the framework to meet high-quality standards. The QIS provides the first phase of technical assistance to help improve child care program quality and navigate through the GNJK process. This is a grant funded position contingent upon the availability of funds to support it.
