Apply to A Global Leader in AI Development A Global Leader in AI Development Full time Location Work environment In-person Expected pay amount 28.00 - 31.00 USD Per Hour Schedule Monday-Friday, 8AM-4:30PM or 4:30PM-1AM (Onsite in SF) Contract HireArt is helping a global leader in AI development find Robotics Pilots to support the collection of high-quality data used to train next-generation AI and robotics models. In this role, you'll work hands-on with robotic arms to perform repetitive manipulation tasks and collect and organize training data. You'll also support engineers and researchers by monitoring data quality, maintaining lab equipment, and helping improve day-to-day data collection processes. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on tasks for extended periods. You have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and are able to stay focused and consistent throughout an 8-hour shift. Available Shifts: Monday-Friday, 8AM-4:30PM or 4:30PM-1AM As a Robotics Pilot, you'll: Operate robotic arms to perform tasks such as sorting, assembling, and moving everyday objects. Capture and label data, including video, sensor readings, and 3D scans, for AI and robotics training. Monitor data quality, identify issues, and communicate findings to the appropriate team members. Maintain lab hardware and equipment while supporting safe and efficient daily operations. Requirements Basic proficiency with spreadsheets and Google Docs Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and established processes Ability to perform repetitive tasks using everyday household items to support robotics model training Comfort working hands-on with robotics hardware and equipment Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment Ability to work onsite and follow established equipment and safety procedures Physical Requirements: Ability to wear and carry a 5 lb backpack for up to 8 hours during a shift Ability to perform repetitive, hands-on tasks for extended periods 96 hours of PTO accrued per year at a rate of 1 hour for every 20 hours worked 13 paid holidays Flexible Spending Account for healthcare-related costs HireArt covers all costs for short and long-term disability and life insurance 401k package Commitment This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt.
