As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team and drive our relationships with hyperscale clients to new heights. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for commissioning UPS, batteries and PDU at a specified customer site following predetermined script. Provide accurate and timely communication to internal and external customers. Keep current on Safety Field Change Notices and Service Tips. Requirements: 5+ years’ experience in this field and ability to follow MOPS on equipment such as UPS, batteries, PDU’s / Power Distribution Units, Static Automatic Transfer Switches, Branch Circuit Monitoring, and other electrical equipment Working knowledge of OHM's law and electronic theory High School Diploma or equivalent 3 phase/480v experience required Familiarity with electrical/electronic test equipment and fundamentals. Ability to read and interpret electrical line diagrams and blueprints. Ability to evaluate the operating conditions of equipment. Standard computer skills including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel. Mechanical aptitude. Clear, concise, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact comfortably with all levels of internal and external customers. Must have the ability and self‑motivation to manage one's own schedule. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 40lbs. Ability to climb ladders and multiple flights of stairs to access elevated equipment Ability to stand for long periods of time in various work environments Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for equipment related tasks Basic physical fitness to respond quickly to emergency situations and navigate areas quickly Ability to move quickly and efficiently withing various work environments to troubleshoot issues or respond to emergencies.
