3 days/week + $70.00/ hour

We are looking for a full-time PET/CT Technologist to work 3 days a week at the following locations:

• Tuesday - Middletown, NY
• Wednesday - Suffern, NY
• Friday - Paterson, NJ

We offer an excellent compensation package plus an annual profit-share bonus of 4%, cell phone stipend, clothing allowance and much more!

Routes are subject to change based upon business needs. Must be willing and flexible to travel occasionally to other sites within the region to provide back up support.

Essential Duties

1. Utilizes radiopharmaceuticals as well as oral and IV contrast agents to perform a variety of diagnostic PET, PET/CT and CT examinations.
2. Providing quality patient care and comfort and ensuring patient safety during the procedure.
3. Explaining medical procedures to patients and answering any questions they may have.
4. Performing a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment.
5. Working in collaboration with radiologists who depend on the technologist to ensure that an imaging test goes smoothly and that precise, detailed images are captured.
6. This position may be required to travel up to 100% of the time.
7. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field (preferred).
• Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine or Radiologic Technology program.
• CNMT or RT (N) Delaware : State license required. Must be dual certified in nuclear medicine and diagnostic CT through (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
• CPR certification required; all mandatory education is provided by the company.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient care and safety.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and general computer navigation

To ensure a safe environment for patients and staff, the following vaccinations, titers, or declinations and health requirements are required this position: MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella); Varicella (Chickenpox); Hepatitis B series; Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis); annual Influenza vaccine; COVID-19 vaccination, if required by facility policy; Tuberculosis screening (annual or per facility guidelines)

Physical Demands

• Push and pull wheelchairs
• Carry and lift with the ability to move non-ambulatory patients from a sitting or lying position for transfer or exam
• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
