We're seeking two dedicated Occupational Therapists for full-time contract positions, supporting K-12 students (primarily K-5) at two sites near Irmo and Lexington, SC. Get ready to start in August (2026-2027 school year) and work onsite in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
As a valued school therapy professional, you will help empower children with diverse needs, supporting their functional independence and academic success. With 37.5 hours per week, you’ll enjoy a consistent schedule that still leaves time to enjoy all that the area has to offer.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapy (OTR/L) license required; applicants with a pending South Carolina license are welcome if they currently hold an active license in another state.
- Prior experience or a strong interest in working with K-12 students in a school setting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for team and family interactions.
- Ability to adapt and prioritize in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
- Motivated new graduates and experienced practitioners are encouraged to apply.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver assessments, direct therapy, and consultative services to students (primarily K-5) across two school sites.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing sensory, fine motor, and daily living skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and achieve educational goals.
- Provide input for IEPs and maintain thorough, compliant documentation.
