Security Officer - Construction Surveillance

As a Security Officer - Construction Surveillance in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $24.72 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Tue: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Thur: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Fri: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and data infrastructure location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, access points, and other assigned areas to help identify and report unusual conditions. Monitor and report security-related equipment issues, environmental concerns, and unauthorized activity in accordance with site-specific procedures. Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while supporting a professional presence at the location. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
